What Next??

I shall just jump right in and ramble on about stuff since I don't know how I should properly "open" this entry. So here goes...

I feel that things would change drastically after Risa is gone. Since I don't follow the newer generations that much, I can't say for sure that there is a voice among those kids which can replace hers. But just imagining it is hard. I really can't see any of them stepping up and filling the void would be leaving. It was hard to fill Eri's shoes, and now it's just ten times worst.

I guess Sayashi would be the one to take over Ai, as how the management has so obviously pushed for. But what about the members who were never the leads? People like KameMame and in future, Sayu? I have to say that things have been different ever since 2010 and it will only get more different.

4+ months left till the bean leaves... then what?? I know I'm gonna be aimless with a gaping space left within me. It's not so easy to let go of something you have been attached to for so long. I've started running this blog in 2008 and in the blink of an eye, it's 2012. To say that I've loved MM for so many years is not a lie, as I've been a mega fan of them even before 2008. I think around 2006 to be exact. Which means I've stayed with a single group for 6 years or more. Believe me, this is a major accomplishment for someone whom they say, has a horrible attention span.

I never expected myself to be so "faithful" and discovering MM and falling in love with them as well as much of H!P through these years made me realise many things. This big group of girls with various personalities brought me much laughter, joy, entertainment and smiles. But they also gave me a lot of heartache, quarrels and troubles. Strange you would think, as why would a girl group lead to so many things? But they did. And if you knew the full (and true) story of what happened to me as I followed MM (and H!P) as a huge fan, you would be stunned at my experiences.

Many times, I have wondered what my life would be like or how would it be different from how I know it if I didn't come across this Japanese girl group. For one, I would definitely be richer, have more space in my room and have made less enemies. I always thought that having a common like meant getting along and having fun together. But when differing opinions and preferences brought about ill feelings and silent distain, it ruined everything. Not to mention when more complicated things came into play. Humans, are funny creatures.

Towards the MM that I know and love, I have regrets. I couldn't attend their concerts in 3 different countries, I couldn't cry my heart out at the graduation concert of a member I love, and I couldn't hold their hands and thank them for all the happy times they brought me.

Why did it have to be May Gaki-san? Why did it have to be you?? If only you and Sayumi could graduate together in October and in a country outside of Japan. Then I would only be left with 1 regret out of the 3.

Alas, life never goes how we want it too. That's why the wise men say, don't rush in, don't get attached, and never ever fall in love.

Goodbye My Little Omame...

When the news about Risa graduating broke, I was a little skeptical about it's authenticity. After all, it has been barely 6 months since Ai left the group. I didn't think that the bean would graduate so soon. I thought that she would at least be leader for a year.

After the news was confirmed, it seemed that she had planned this all along. With Ai that is. Apparently they had wanted to graduate together. But after discussing, she had decided to stay behind until the newer members became more stable. I guess May this year is the time she thought that her presence was no longer needed. Yet I beg to differ. Even if the 9th gen were okay now, the 10th gen couldn't be independent yet could they?

Somehow I think Risa isn't too comfortable with singing and dancing songs like the recent release. She is 23 years old, 24 in 2012. Does she really want to continue performing such songs? Although I should be sad that Mame-chan will no longer be in MM, I can't say I'm overly depressed about this.

I don't know if it's because I've become somewhat numb with all the graduations. Or that this isn't a surprise with the one girl (or more) leaving pattern every year. But yes, I'm not killing myself over this. In fact, I don't feel as devastated about Risa graduating as compared to Koharu, Eri and Ai in the past.

Perhaps this is due to the current MM not being the one which I love. So even if she left, it wouldn't make a difference. In a way, I'm hoping for Sayumi to grad as well. Why can't they let GakiShige grad together. Then there will be closure for me.

With the amount of work Sayusuke has over the rest, I don't see how she can perform the tasks that comes with being leader. Maybe the company took this into consideration and will let Reina be leader instead. And that's the reason why the next leader hasn't been announced. I know Yossui and someone else ever remarked that the bunny would make a good leader. I don't doubt her capabilities, I just wonder if she would have the time and energy to do it, without KameMame by her side.

Will the little more than half a year period be enough for Sayumin to pick up everything that she has to know from Gaki-san if she indeed became the next leader? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure, 2012 will be a new era for H!P. One that doesn't have both the MM and H!P leader as the same person. Will this new beginning be something good for the entire H!P? I hope so. Because even if all my favourite girls left, I don't want to see what they have worked so hard to create fail after they have gone.

Ganbatte in everything you do after graduating from MM Gaki-san. You are a special individual and no matter what some people might say, MM without you, isn't the same.

Gaki's acting

I thought Risa did alright in her movie with Nakki where they were students who encountered some ghostly being? I loved the bit where the body splattered in front of her face and the blood splashed onto her. It was one scene where I was greatly impressed.

But I never imagined that she would improved by so much more since then. Her acting in the play was almost to the level of awesomeness. There were still some parts where she wasn't as convincing as she should be. But overall it was a job well done. I simply adore her fighting scenes. Very smooth and believable. I wonder if she practiced the moves outside of rehearsal. If so how and with whom? =P Ai-chan maybe? Just imagining them being rough with each other is... XD

The beginning was funny when the bottom of the wooden bucket flew off. Hey Gaki-san, you have comedic timing. Why not consider a career in comedy as well? =D

I've not been able to sit down properly and watch through the entire vid yet. But I know I would be impressed with the bean =) From what I've seen, she looks tiny among the rest of the cast. And she would probably end up with a sorethroat with all that screaming. I wonder what she must shout in such a low voice. And ouch when she got kicked. I hope she didn't get hurt during practice =(

The Month of Plays

It's funny to see how Gaki doesn't bother to change the title of her blog posts when she's writing about her play. I didn't expect her to be the type to just reuse the same title. She must be pretty busy and tired on most days to resort to this.

Up till now I have no idea what it's about except that there are a lot of people involved. I'm guessing the storyline is about a group of bodyguards and how they protect the person they are supposed to keep safe? But why do these 8 bodyguards dress differently? Are they from various time periods? If that was the case, then perhaps Ai could have been one of the 8 and she could continue wearing her Sara outfit =P

Somehow I think it would be awesome if there was a play focusing on Gaki's character and Sara. The plot could revolve around how Risa was an imperial bodyguard who stumbled across and fell in love with a vampire-Sara. I know Ai is human in her play but we could always tweak it a little. And so the entire town wants to eliminate Sara due to fear and not understanding that she is a kind vampire who doesn't feed on human blood. By standing by her love, Gaki ends up being ostracized by the people and the 2 of them have to run for their lives. Of course in the process of escaping to another place where no one knows them, a lot of fighting, blood, "love scenes" must be included =P I would love to see a scene of AiGaki baring their souls (and possibly their bodies as well) to each other on stage. They wouldn't be naked for real, but some strategically positioned lighting and good nude bras would come in handy ^^;

Why couldn't UFA had come up with such a play when both AiGaki were still in H!P? Fans would be super happy to see such a production especially if a kissing scene was included. Damn, I wanna see this so bad! I like both Ai and Risa's costumes in their respective plays although the beans would have been even more epic if her boob area was more filled up xD

If only I could attend the viewing of these plays. Watching my favorite girls in the flesh would be such a treat.

Sadistic Ai

Wordpress sucks! So difficult to post on it with Aiphone. Shouldn't have been a smart Alec and used that instead of another blogspot blog.

So Ai is violent both awake and in her sleep. Who knew she was intrinsically so? Can't judge a book by it's cover ne~. From her physical appearance, she is definitely the softer and party who looks like she needs protection. I don't get it, Gaki doesn't really like Ai in "that way" does she? Then why does she take all these from her? Once again I'm baffled and impressed by the bean. Like factor raises a notch!

Why do AiGaki have hair that grows so quickly? I like how Risa curled her hair in e latest pics on her blog. It looks almost exactly like the awesome hairstyle she had when singing 'best friend' except for the darker shade. I wonder how many Mickey related tops she has. Seems like a lot.

I dread but am also curious to see Sayu's latest pb.

Sayuminglandoll which has the full name of "land of sleeping with a Sayumi doll" is gonna be released on 27 Oct. When I first read that it would feature shots of Sayu being all doll-like, I was quite excited to see what this pb had to offer. I had expected it to be better compared to the usual pb. But when the cover was revealed, I was disappointed. Despite her having a great figure, and though I still love her milky skin and pinchable tummy, I found that the image didn't suit her. In short, it wasn't a nice cover to me. It didn't make me want to purchase it =( Also, in recent blog entries, Sayumi didn't look as good as she normally does. I'm not sure it is her nose or eyes. But something seems to be different. I hope it's just my small phone monitor giving me a false impression and that the bunny really isnt any different from her usual gorgeous self.

I missed posting on Risa's birthday! I hate myself for that. And I hated that Thursday. In my mind I was thinking it would be ironic to have a death anniversary on the same date as my Idol's birthday. Ai-chan and Sayu both wished her happy birthday. She met up with Eri for a meal. I don't know why the company doesnt allow Kame's pics to be on their blogs. But at least she posted up the present that the turtle gave her. A Pooh-chan cushion! A weird selection but since it's Eri I guess that's understandable. Does Gaki like Pooh bear? I wanna know what everyone else gave Risa! Im also curious as to how she spent the day. Did she go on a date with a special someone?

I like Eripon. I can't believe I would feel anything for 9th gen let alone like someone from this generation. But reading about Eripon always being worried that the other members didn't like her stirred something inside me. I don't know if she made the first move to be closer to Risa or did the bean try and include this kouhai more to ensure that she didn't feel so insecure. Either way, the blog pics that came out of it are really cute. I also love how Pon Pon uses her own money to buy Gaki merchandise. It reminds me of how Gaki-san too bought MM goods in the past with her own money even when she was already in the group. Would this pairing with a 9 year age gap work as well as AiGaki or KameMame? Only time will tell...

AiGaki's 2nd Honeymoon in Korea ~ Part 1

I enjoyed myself viewing it without subs but the entertainment level shot through the roof when I could understand what the girls were saying.

I must say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gaki with hair in this light shade of brown. I can't believe that I said she didn't look as good as Kame with it. After her appearance singing 'Best Friend', I totally fallen in love with her this look. It's such a pity she didn't keep it for a longer period.

Is it weird that I've dreamt of the crown Ai-chan is wearing on her head for 2 nights in a row? I even dreamt of the price! It costs $12.xx lol. I wonder where she got that. On the plane? Or a gift shop on the way out. If it's from a shop inside the Korea airport, I'm so gonna get myself one if I ever visit the land of Kimchi.

Such big bags for just a 2 day 1 night trip? These girls must need a lot of stuff when away from home. Are their bags the same design but in a different color? The pink one is cute but like Ai, I would probabaly get a color that didn't scream out ^^;

LOL at Ai feeling embarrassed after yelling out "LET'S GO!" I love how cute and duck-like she sounds while Gaki's English intonation was too perfect.

Awww, isn't it sweet how Risa knew what were the things Ai wanted to do and even thought of more fun stuff to add on? I'm so envious of their relationship.

I couldn't stop replaying this scene! It's the cutest ever!!! Gosh, I can't stop blabbering about how adorable their interaction and expressions are. Especially the bean when she pouted and looked annoyed that Ai was peeking at their itinerary XD

Karupichipul?? Lol again at Ai's way of saying that. She is so playful. This isn't a side we normally see of her. It must be because she is with Risa huh? One of the rare persons she can act so comfortably with.

Ai being all pleased with herself. She must be happy that she managed to decipher the destination. Her clapping and Risa trying to drown out that with her own "ahhhhhhhhh" makes me all fuzzy inside. AiGakiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!! I love them so so much!!!'

Tee hee hee at the eating chilli bit. It's obvious Ai watched Risa's expression before deciding that she was going to try the chilli too. What is so surprising about Ai wanting to shop? Lol, sometimes Risa just asks the funniest things. Look at the furry red heart (?) pillow at the top left corner of this screencap. Why would Ai need this? To nap on the plane? They provide mini pillows no? She should have brought along her red towel instead of a red cushion =P

Boots! Boots are one of the awesomest footwear. That's a Dr Marten's aint't it?

I almost went ballistic when Risa said "HK stations are like this too." Thinking, OMG she went to HK?!?!? Then I remembered MM did travel to HK for one of their FC tours. I wonder if she visited the country again for a personal trip.

I like their bags. Coincidentally both are pink. Ai's has studs! How cool is that. And Risa's resembles a bag by Marc Jacobs. Initially I thought it was that and almost rushed to get one. Then I realized the print says something Hawaii. Did she purchase hers in Hawaii during one of the AloHello PB trips?

I thought Ai wanted it for herself. In the end it was for her sis. Somehow I can see her carrying it? ^^; I'm sure I will see this bag being sold somewhere sooner or later.

Apparently such cosmetic stuff are really cheap in Korea. My friend said people ship them back home in cartons @@

This is the best AiGaki clip in ages. I love how huge and round Ai's eyes were when Risa appeared. The smacks on the head she gave the poor bean were ultra cute. It's clear that Gaki had tears in her eyes as she looked at Ai. I love how she went to hold leader in her arms. Awwwwwwwwwww it's so sweet. I almost shed a few tears myself when Risa said it was lonely that everyone is graduating or has graduated. Though Ai says it will be alright, I doubt sub-leader fully believes it at this point. It's hard to when the most popular member and her longest comrade will be leaving tomorrow!

This new movie has Yurina as the lead and Airi in a smaller role. Is she 2nd lead? I have no idea. But boy can she pull off the evil look. Is she the evil girl in the movie?

I think it's proven that the evil expression is easiest to do that's why no matter how bad an actress someone is, they can always succeed in evil roles.

Oh yes, how are they gonna find a guy tall enough for Yurina? And is everyone else gonna have to stand on a step ladder to film scene with her? =X I wanna watch this, along with the vampire movies. Why can't local theatres scene them?

Just 3 days to the Fukui concert and 9 more to the final graduation concert. *SIGH*

I never wanted Ai to graduate, not without Risa by her side. But I sorta knew they would never make it a double graduation like Makoto and Kon Kon or EJL. One reason could possibly be, Ai is much too big a star to have to share her big day with someone else. And another factor could well be that the management weren't confident that a Sayumi x Reina leadership would be the best option for now.

Although I'm more that certain the bunny would make a reliable leader, judging from how well she takes care of Eri in the past as well as her more than good relationship with the remaining members. She probably doesn't have enough experience on how to manage the younglings, hence Gaki should be at the helm for now.

I read this interview of the current leader and sub on the bus and I was touched to the extent of almost bawling my eyes out. I think the portion which affected me the most was how the two could understand what each other was thinking without saying it out. The word used was telepathy and I wholeheartedly agree.

It seems that they had spoken right from the start, at the temple training during the 5th gen auditions. I didn't expect this to be the case considering they have a two year age difference between them. With so many girls there, I'm sure some others would have been closer in age and less intimidating or weird to start a conversation with. So I guess it was already written in the stars that these two would end up coming such a long way together.

--Incidentally, from Gaki-san's point of view, what kind of leader was Takahashi Ai?

Niigaki: The closest one, or how should I put it....a leader who's very close to her juniors. Aichan personally doesn't have the sense of “Because I'm leader,” rather, it's like, “Even though I'm leader, it's easy to talk to me.” It's easy to consult her. She's a leader that the 9th gen can get close to, going, “Takahashi-san!” In that sense she's become a leader who wants to create a cozy Morning Musume. There's still the senior-junior relationship, but in a good way and without creating barriers, she watches over everyone, and everyone also loves her dearly. I really think she's that kind of leader.

Niigaki: That's how it is.......

*Niigaki is crying out loud*

Niigaki: But somehow, what is it.......It's difficult, though! Really. Putting it into words.

Now this part, makes me feel that Risa really observed and noticed the type of leadership Ai chose to go with. She put it so well that I want to give her a hug and squeeze (no dirty thoughts please XD) for saying it.

Niigaki: We've come along having worked hard together like that, so she also does things like worry about our future. I myself am also very uneasy.....but we were able to work hard and come this far, even while worrying, “Will it be ok after she graduates?” so I think we'll be fine. [We'll move forward] so that we don't worry her about anything,

That's why I think because Ai-chan also worries about this Morning Musume that has been built up, we have to continue it properly so as not to worry her. We'll move forward in a very positive way.

Awww, it's touching how they try not to worry the other. This is really what true, close friends are made of. Always having the other party on your mind and wanting whats best for them. *SNIFF*

---Moreover, the duo Takahashi Ai x Niigaki Risa from that album will also be shown during the tour, right?

Niigaki: I'm very happy that at the very last moment a song was written for the two of us. Moreover, singing it feels really good. We're singing it with great care during the tour.

Takahashi: It's an extremely happy song. I think it's also such a blessing to be able to say that it's “our song.” Furthermore, we get to harmonize. When it comes to harmony, it's not right unless you both depend on each other's melody, right? Gaki-san can be very reliable when it comes to that, so although I say, “it can feel really great singing it in concert,” I'm singing it just naturally, so there are times when it's like, “Eh? We should harmonize at that part, right?” (laughs). The two of us can sing with a natural feeling to the point that we don't even worry about that.

I'm happy for the last AiGaki duet. I'm sure it will be beautiful *sad smile*

A Bean's Infatuation

When I first saw Risa dressed in that dog (?) suit I thought it was for some MM event. It's only today that I realized she did it for Nacchi. It's almost crazy, but it also shows how much she loves her senpai. I never understood how or why she is so enamored by this particular senior. Was Abe her idol right from the start? And that infatuation had lasted all through her days in MM with her and even up to now? Had Nacchi been that kind and nice to Gaki which caused her love for the older woman to span over ten years? To tell the truth, I had ever suspected that the bean's open show of affection for the once face of MM was just a way of gaining more fans. But today, I'm convinced that it's possible to like a person this much. And it's also possible to keep giving and not expect anything in return. I'm sorry for not trusting your feelings Risa-chan. I have been a bad fan.

Her hair looks so Korean now. The color and the style both looks like something a Korean celebrity will have. But I prefer it on Risa. Maybe I'm biased but I really think so. Why did you have to go to Disney Sea? It's almost as if her blog entries are mocking me. Is that your regular nail artist? You must be on really good terms to go to the themepark with her. Somehow, I'm envious of such a relationship. At first I thought Risa draped a towel over herself and wondered why was she so crazy inside Disney Sea. Could she really be so nuts about the place? Then I realized that blue garment was really a jacket. Silly and blind me.

That picture of her with her sister. It looks a lot like Mr and Mrs Niigaki doesn't it. If only it was. That would have been sweet.

After seeing Maimi's latest solo DVD cover, I'm surprised her hairstyle is still a short one. I thought most Japanese girls preferred long hair. And so did their fans. Why did the C-ut(i)e leader decide to go against the norm? Was she influenced by Ai-chan? Who also looks incredible with a short length. And I don't remember Maimi ever dying her hair brown. If so, she, Airi and Sayumi are one of the few left who stuck with black hair. The look good like this. But I can't help but wonder if they would be even more stunning with dyed/highlighted locks.

Seemed like leader didn't know what the bean was getting that at first until she asked "You're not down right?" then Ai immediately got it. See, they ARE close and can read each other's minds.

"How do you feel?" Just a single sentence but it holds so much more. I especially like the part where the 2 said nothing and just exchanged looks (the expressions they had on were awwww).

Nothing more needs to be said. I think at that moment, Risa understood that Ai would be okay. She just need a bit of time to get over it. Nice that she lightened the mood by asking about the toothbrush she was holding. But the stupid editing people had to go and cut the scene. *annoyed*

Too many crappy things have been happening in the world and in life. And since I dread tomorrow as well, I need loads of Ai-chan and Gaki-san to cheer me up. Aren't these pictures just so great?

Ai is definitely gorgeous. I can't find a single flaw on her perfect face. Pity Risa's page wasn't uploaded too. It would be nice to print these out on photo quality paper.

I wanna hug the photographer for getting these two to lie back to back and take this shot. I LOVE IT! It would make a great drama or movie poster. Gosh, I would do anything to get Mr and Mrs Niigaki in a good show together. Both their smiles are so beautiful. I could stare at these pics all day and night and day and nite :)

A Bean and her Pet

Kame eating spicy senbei and making the most adorable expressions and actions. LOL at her whacking Gaki on the arm as made continuous itai noises :D

This isn't the only time I've seen Risa rubbing her nose in such an ungirly fashion XD I guess I should want her to stop doing that but then, I kinda find it cute? ^^; What can I say, I love every aspect of the bean.

I don't know why I found the interaction between KameMame similar to an owner and her pet? It's like Risa is the owner getting her pet doggie (or turtle in this case XD) to taste a new treat. The end result is the pet Kame not liking the tidbit and making all sorts of whiny sounds about it XD AWWWWWWWWWWWW the ultra kawaii turtle bean bag pair. *Sobs* I miss seeing them together.

It's a good thing there is a somewhat regular dose of AiGaki recently. I should write a post about these sweet couple soon. Ahhh mac mac, please get well soon. I can't live without you. My MM fandom depends on you a lot so hurry and recover! XD

A nice OPV featuring darling Eri. Although I can't agree with how H!O bans users, I admire the Kame fans who still post in her thread. The turtle might be gone for now, but she'll be back one day. And until then, we (loyal Eririn fans) will be waiting.

Wow, who would have guessed that members of MM would make it up on this blog? Does this mean that local guys like Risa and Sayu's look? Not surprising since they do look more gorgeous than normal girls.

What shocked me was, why wasn't Ai, Eri and Reina featured? Considering they are the more popular ones in the group.

An Open Display of Affection

Besides the fact that both Ai and Risa look darn gorgeous with that hair and outfit, the best part about this clip is how they were hugging.

Pay special attention to how tight their embrace were. I loved...

a) The way Mame staggered backwards when Ai bulldozed into her XD

b) How Risa patted and rubbed her wife's lower back

c) The smile they exchanged. I can't see Mr Niigaki's expression, but from Ai-chan's, I think it would have been just as adorable

d) Naughty Ai-chan smacking Gaki-san on the cheeks. Twice too XD You have to be close to be able to do that

I wonder what thoughts were running through Sayumi's head when she witnessed this.

a) Chee...Ai-chan already hugged me first

b) Ehhhh?!?! Why didn't Ai-chan hug me?

c) I'm so gonna kill that bean! Yup, boil and cook her into green bean soup
