爱 Believe...

It's fast huh, already two of the current MM concerts are over which means just 8 more to go before leader graduates =( I still can't figure out why they only have 10 concerts?! It's much too little. After seeing the concert goods going on sale, I cant believe how much stuff I want. Of course the wristband and MM shirt set is a must have. I love how they incorporated the heart design. Pure brilliance really. One of the rare moments UFA comes out with good stuff. Gosh the cap! Its awesome! If there is only one item that can be bought, this has to be it. I only like Ai's uchiwa and all three of AiGakiShige's shirts and microfibre towels have to be purchased! Notice Risa's hair is the lighter shade as compared to the uchiwa. I guess this means the pictures were taken at different periods. I adore Ai-chan's outfit in here. The little bowtie adds on to her overall cuteness =) Oh Sayu has a bowtie too =D and Gaki's outfit isn't too shabby either. Kyaaaaa~! I also need the individual photo sets of AiGakiShige! They are all so beautiful! The group photo sets look nice too and it's only because of these three =x And after buying a truckload of stuff, it's only right if they are placed inside the shopping bag to be carried home xD The theme this time seems more kiddish. Is it to cater to 9th gen? I prefer sexy but since Ai makes most themes look good I can still accept this =P Sigh, Ai Believe... the mere mention of the title makes a part of me die inside. I'm gonna miss one Takahashi Ai =(...

Saw a pic of AiGaki on stage from the current tour and it made me sad! Ai looked like she was crying and it made me tear too. I thought Risa put on more weight and was relieved that she didn't continue down her scary weight lost route. But apparently fans who attended the concert commented that she was way too thin. Nooooo! I don't want Gaki-san to remain like this?! She must go back to her healthy BMI soon or it could really harm her health =(

Another Side of Sayumi

Although the bunny portrays a certain character on TV, there are also times when she reveals a side to her that is very different from what you normally see. For example, she once said something like this, "We aren’t alone, I think. we’re all tied together; and the tears happening now, I believe they are connected to the smiles of the future." Food for thought huh?

In the clip below taken from her new DVD Homey, she talks about her wish for MM. Someone translated it on the forum so credits to the person who so kindly wrote it out.

Sayu's dream is for people, that don't know about Morning Musume, to discover Morning Musume. People in Japan and overseas too. First off, she wants lots of people in Japan to know momusu...like really know them and not just by their established name. She feels that Morning Musume is not only good at singing but also cool. Sayu feels that Morning Musume is truly awesome and it would be a waste for only her to know that...(a side from the current fans of course). She wants a lot of people to learn the good parts of current momusu and not just the old Morning Musume.

This is also my wish for MM. The girls might not be the best there is, but I truly think they are good enough to deserve more popularity, sales and fans.

Another trivia about Sayu. Seemed like during the first concert today (day concert) for MM's Spring 2011 tour, there was an announcement about a possible aftershock during her perf which caused it to be interupted. I think she started from the beginning of her song again after it was deemed safe enough to continue.

FanKora Special Edition

I finally had time to sit down and watch the special edition of the H!P 2010 Summer FanKora concert DVD. My first impressions after letting the video run was, "My eyes!!! They are going blind!" XD Hee hee the outfits this time were really a mix up of colors and most of them didn't go very well?

Surprisingly the girls still looked good though. See, this is the advantage of being pretty. They will look good no matter what they wear.

For some reason I found that there was a lot of S/mileage and Mano Erina in the video? (Or was I being biased without realizing it XD) I would much rather have more of MM ^^; Despite saying that, I liked almost all of the songs that these 2 acts performed. Very good choices there.

I'll comment on my fave K4 and maybe a few of the other H!P members. I'll see what I can remember about them XD

Ai-chan: This woman is fierce! I loved it when her hair was messy and flying all over the place as she was performing. It was just so darn sexy XD When she had the pink bow on her head, it was a little distracting but nevertheless she was still super duper cute. How can Ai be 24 and still look way younger? @@ She was perhaps one of the few who could maintain her singing throughout the vid. Most of the rest had cracking voices and panting sounds *ahem Mano and Sayumin ahem*, lol.

Gaki-san: Omg, her costume was the worst. The worst! Lol, but at least her hair was nice? And it's a bonus that she wasn't chubby :P Risa was awesome as long as she wasn't in that horrible multi-colored top with leopard/tiger/cheetah prints. When she was performing the ZYX song, I was worried she would run out of air during the part where she had to go "woaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh woah woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~" lol. Thankfully she survived XD

Eri: Ahhh Kame, she had this crazy weird but very nice looking top. Either she had the better set of clothes or she made the outfit look better than it was. She does have that ability so I wouldn't be surprised if that was really what happened. I don't know if I've noticed this before but Kame has very little hair and a lot of forehead? XD And when she sweats, her hair ends up sticking to her head which isn't necessarily the most flattering. BUT, she beats any other person with thin hair hands down in any situation :D

Sayumi: She is the luckiest girl in the world cuz she doesn't have to be afraid of putting on weight on her legs. It's as if Sayu would never end up with fat thighs. She isn't exactly tall but whenever I look at the bunny's legs, they seem to go on forever and are so silky white and smooth. Gah... I should banish these thoughts from my mind XD Oh and I don't know why the fact that she has this little bits of fats at the part where the top of her dress ends (above her boobs and beneath her armpits) make her so much more adorable. If I'm weird for this at least I'm not the only one cuz OD agrees with me on this XDDDDD

I said I might talk about the other girls? But I think I won't after all. I realize I can't really remember anything much about the rest XD My mind is always focused on K4 only ^^;

I wanna watch the full perfs of all these songs! UFA should follow WWE and make it a pay per view thing XD Cuz if they adopt this method, there would be some way to enjoy these performances completely.

Lol, that's the line I remember the most from MM's France Hatsujouriku Live DVD.

And I have to admit that Jun Jun looked pretty good in those scenes with Risa and their buys of boxer shorts XD Is it a norm for daughters in Japan to buy underwear for their dads? :D

I should have typed this entry as I was watching but I couldn't bear to tear my eyeballs away hence I'll have to try and remember the thoughts that went through my mind as I grinned and enjoyed myself thoroughly during the video.

The girls went through 4 changes of costumes. I expected more but I guess with 8 members, their luggage, more than a few staff to follow along, camera equipment, and other items that have to be brought, the cost of transporting them should be relatively high. I should be thankful that they got at least 4 sets.

Some things I noticed during the live. All of the girls had humongous eye bags. The poor things. They must be tired out from the flying. Jet lag perhaps? They perspired like mad, and hair was flying everywhere XD

I love how Eri's skin kinda shimmers from the sheen of sweat? :P What?? She was darn sexy okay? XDDDD Sayumi has a pimple :P Aika's hair looked good but any normal person might have come out looking like an 'auntie' if they tried to pull this hairstyle off. Risa's extensions weren't bad. In fact, she looked quite sexy with them. Ai really worked that hair, twirling it and smacking it on one of the girls at one time while dancing :D

I want the poster! I want the Tshirt! But most of all, I want the girls!!! XDDD Sigh....there won't be another time where MM will go to France right? Maybe in another 2 or 4 years I can go to France? But *sigh* it's impossible for the members I wanna see to still be there at that time.

I have never seen this vid before. I love to see stuff that fans make to showcase MM :) I think they are fans? I wonder who added in the Japanese subs.

A Clumsy Bunny

Poor Sayumin. She fell twice during the current concert. Ouch huh? Once was during the Appare! Kaiten Zushi performance when she tripped on her shoelaces. What does this tell you kiddos? Always ALWAYS tie 2 knots for ya laces :P

Apparently they stopped the music. That sounded really scary to me. I mean, how serious must the fall be to warrant that? A Sayu call started and fans got worried. I would too if I saw such a thing happen. But the bunny appeared on stage again a few minutes later. What made me grin like crazy was what she said after. With a smile on her beautiful face, she declared, "I have a wound in my heart but I'm alright." This girl thinks of the best lines. There was an episode of HM@ where she said "I want to be the person who stops the rain in your heart." How does she think up such things? Maybe she uses them on Eri often XD Would it work on the turtle? It would definitely have an effect on me ^^;

Oh and dear sweet Aika tried to help her senpai out by dancing in front of her. Presumably to hide her from view and give her time to stand up. It was written by fans who saw the incident that her effort didn't really work out since the music stopped and the rest of the members helped her up. I wonder if this scene will be included in the DVD?

I'm not certain if it's the same fall where Michishige shouted "Genki deeeesu!!" When she came on stage again. It could have been the previous fall, I don't know. All in all, it's clear she needs someone to catch her the next time she trips or loses her footing. Too bad Kame won't be quick enough to save her when it happens :P Should she have picked a faster prince? XD Just kidding. I like my KameShige :)

Rival Survival 2010 Autumn

Rival Survival. This time, the name of MM's autumn concert is so cool and every single good for this tour matches the awesomeness incredibly well. The norm is that you would get bonus pictures if you buy the entire selection of goods. And personally, I find it to be really worth it. Just look at the photos! The colored background is somehow cool although these shades are bright. And sadly I can't really see their expressions properly.

Ai-chan's birthday tee!!! Compared to the regular concert shirts, I feel the birthday ones are much more special as the girls usually get to design it themselves. It's great if they have artistic sense. If no then...lol.

What's this? Judging from the outer packaging, it must be those random photos and pin-ups that are sold by pieces. I love getting these as the excitement of ripping open the wrapper and seeing which girl you get is the best. Of course if it happens to be one of the K4 then that make the experience 10 times better :D

The lovely leader. I think I prefer the set on the left. Her hair makes me want to run my fingers through :P And the shhh pose is always suggestive and alluring. If my gym instructor looked like this, I'll definitely be able to find more motivation to work out XD

Mame!! My adorable bean actually looks mighty good this time :P Gawd...I love it when she's slim and sexy *drools* If I had 2 gym instructors in the form of AiGaki, then I'll never wanna leave the place, LOL.

Kame Kame Kame. Normally I rank her pretty high in the list of who looks prettiest. But this time I'm not really feeling her hair? Still, she will always be one of my loves no matter how she looks :)

As for Sayu, she is definitely gorgeous here. She doesn't suit the athletic look too well but hey, she's beautiful in the jungle themed one. All sorts of hawt if you ask me^^;

YATTA~~! Loads of adorable MM pictures. I really couldn't decide which of the 3 sets I wanted. But I think I might get the middle set if I can. I love candid shots :D

I can't lie, Ai's is the best imo. She's so darn hot I can feel myself warming up in this air conditioned room XD Look at that pose! Look at that butt!! :P Gaki isn't bad considering how she can sometime be :P But she can't outshine her wife in this set of microfiber towels. It's funny how the turtle and bunny pair have similar poses? I can't decide who is hotter. I think I might have to put them on the same level here. It's really too hard to choose!

Am I crazy if I say I wanna get these? I don't know what I can do with a bandana but it's such a surprising piece of item that I'm tempted to buy one. Well, I'm tempted to get all 4 actually but that's not possible :( I hate making decisions! Oh and I hate economics too *sobs* I love the fact that it comes with 2 photos. That means I get to stare at the pictures all day *hearts*

The shirts are...well... I have to say the army design is new but it doesn't suit every color. I think Risa's is the best since it's most normal. I think I've seen pinks ones around too. But the yellow and orange are a little strange.

I'm telling you. I died too many times over when I saw the uchiwas. I hate getting them cuz I have no place to hide them and I can't really use them for anything except display purposes. If I could put them on the shelve or on my notice board it would be great. Unfortunately I can't cuz of certain reasons so I doubt I will be buying these. I'm really sad about this though cuz all of K4 look so gorgeous! I like Sayumin's the most. That look she's giving is downright smoldering and oozing sexiness.

I don't really see the point of selling an additional wristband in the same overall color when the MM group Tee set already has one. At least it looks quite cool and it isn't embarrassing to wear it out cuz it's not obvious that it's the merchandise of a Japanese all girl idol group.

Posters! Perfect for pasting on the wall to admire whenever you enter and exit the bedroom. And cuz they are larger than photos, you get to see your favourite girl clearly. Are there 2 designs this time? Or is the poster printer on both sides? I wish they sold the horizontal design one too. That one is really pretty.

The DVD Mags this round are really fun! I've not watched them yet but from what I've heard and the screencaps I've seen, I'm sure they wouldn't disappoint. Hurray for AiGaki to be up against each other. Always awesome to see Mr and Mrs Niigaki interaction *beams wide*

Back to the aim of this post, which is none other than to praise the awesome-listic perf by AiGaki!!! God knows how many times I've listened to the mp3 and now that the concert DVD is out, I'm again watching and re-watching it endless times ^_^

Because I'm so in love with the song and this pairing, I tired to translate the lyrics. My attempt shouldn't be too far off from the original meaning... I hope ^^; I've differentiated the lyrics into their respective lines. The peach colored lines mean they are singing together.

Things You Never Knew...

I rather like watching solo angles as they give me never seen before scenes which are mostly left out of the actual concert DVD. And as one camera shadows one girl, you can pick up the little habits they have, their interaction with the other members, whether they sing along when it's not their lines, if they smile when the camera is not focused on them, wardrobe malfunctions etc. In other words, the side of them you don't often see.

Hence in the latest set of solo angle DVDs from the 9 Smile tour, I couldn't wait to watch K4's. Though that is to be expected :P

I have not sat through the entire vid of all 4 girls yet but I have seen enough of each to have an idea of what the whole thing will be like. If I were to rank their watchability in accordance to my preference, the list would look like this.

1) Ai

2) Eri

3) GakiShige (Yep, they are tied for 3rd spot)

Are you surprised at the result? If you aren't, that'll be strange. Cuz I am XD

I thought that Kame would take 1st position but in the end it turned out that Ai's was the one I'm most fond of. The reasons are as follows:

Takahashi Ai-chan

I liked her hair style this time, her expressions were suitable for the songs, her dancing had the appropriate strength and power. Meaning her moves didn't come across as too forceful or exaggerated. Plus, the way she perspired made her look really sexy? ^^; Originally I only wanted to check if the file had finished downloading that's why I opened it. However, I ended up sitting through more than 80% of the concert at one time and this is the most out of all the K4 vids. Oh, another point to note, Ai doesn't appear to be tired at all? In fact she just gets increasingly hyped up and it makes me wanna jump up and yell along with her when she gets the crowd going :) 'Nanchatte Renai' (or maybe 'Genki') is my choice for best Ai perf though she was awesome in many more. She was just channeling bad girl in here *swoons* Oh! 'Kioku no Meiro' was all kinds of hawt as well. See what I mean by Ai's is the DVD to watch? :)

Kamei Eririn

Moving on to the middle manager. Hmmmm, I noticed she kept doing something with her mouth? Honestly I don't know what she's up to. Is she swallowing her saliva? XD Then she must have a lot of it cuz she does it really frequently. Still, her dance makes up for that little flaw. Eri has always been my favorite to watch when it comes to dancing. And of course she is pretty. Was there any doubt that she wouldn't be? It's easy to lose track of time when watching her. She's just incredibly gorgeous in so many ways. *Ahem* Her face, figure and character. *Cough* She seems to sweat the most out of the 4 to the extent that I'm worried about her fainting from dehydration. Somebody, pass the turtle a water bottle! XD

PS: Gawd, Eri was so stunning in Sukura Mankai that I forgot to breath *drools*

Niigaki Risa

I had a hard time deciding between these 2. They both have their good and bad sides. I didn't want to have them share the same position but I really couldn't decide.

Gaki-san has a great voice imo and I love to hear her sing. BUT, she can be rather over the top when performing. And in this concert, she was wayyyyyyyyyyyy over the top ^^; As a mame fan, I hate to see her rank so low. But I can't deny how I couldn't stomach many portions of her DVD? I mean, I really wanted to laugh when she emotes in a "sexy" manner. I think she was shooting for sexy? But it kinda fails? And her eyeliner + mascara + eye shadow + whatever didn't suit her well. I don't know, it made me feel like she had a role in 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Oh man, I sound like I'm slamming her aren't I? I love my bean! I do. It's just that I wish she would tone things down a little :P I know she can be really cute, hawt, sexy and all that but sadly in this DVD, she couldn't achieve them for the most part. It's okay though Risa, when it comes to the crunch, I'll still pick you over the rest :D And I found how you tossed away your hair band during 'How do you like this Japan?' so very kakoii :) There were quite a number of heart stopping moments in 'SONGS.'

Michishige Sayumin

I think it's known to fans that Sayu doesn't have the best stamina in the group. It's quite clear that she becomes tired fast and her dancing isn't the best. When a video shows all the members, it's less obvious that her dance needs polishing (especially when they zoom in to only show her upper body). But in a solo angle DVD, it kinda shouts out to you that his girl isn't made to dance. Still, I like how she makes the effort to mouth the lines though it's not her turn. And Sayu has the most amazing smile when performing. She makes me feel that she really enjoys being in MM and she's not doing it just for the fame or money. Points were deducted for her hair. Oh dear usagi-chan, haven't you realized by now that sexy and mature works for you more than kawaii? And she needs to learn how to not look as though she's zoning out when someone else is singing. In her defense, Shige-san was absolutely ADORABLE in SYO. Something about that dance suits her well :)

A Revival... Part 1

Woah, I've really not been posting for quite some time. I just didn't know what to write since inspiration seemed to have left me and...well some other stuff had happened. BUT! I can't let this continue can I? After all, I'm a loyal MM fan and this blog is dedicated to MM and H!P in general. I can't let my fandom die, and this blog is one of the most obvious ways to show that I still love me MM girls ^^

1) Bikini Heaven

Well, first of all, I got meself the MM AH4 PB!! Yay!! *applause* It's a soft cover and filled with gorgeous pics of the 8 girls. Yes, I said 8. Cuz although the 8kkies aren't at the top my ranking, I must still admit there were some really nice pics of them.

Needless to say, Ai, Gaki, Kame, Sayu and Reina were all beautiful. I especially loved the shots of them in the white dresses and the polaroids where they were just fooling around. If only they magnified them cuz I find that it's only in these that we can see their genuine smiles and laughter. And there was a AiGaki pic which was uber cute!!! Damn the people who chose which pics to dedicate a whole page to. GRRR *shakes fist*

As for the DVD, nothing really stood out. It was mostly MM being pretty and droolsome in their bikinis. I'm not happy that the KameMame baking a cake bit was edited out though. I demand my turtle & beanbag!!!

2) Wee Wee?

I've been jealous about MM's appearance in Paris ever since I heard about it. It's just not fair? Why do the US and Europe continents get all the good stuff? Not only is there a concert, fans get to have their goods signed, see the girls up close and even shake their hands or hug them!!! *explodes with envy* Oh right, did I mention there are special goods made just for the event too? It's almost as good as being a Japanese living in Japan :(

From the vids that I've seen so far, I think Aika looked really good. Especially in the video below. I was totally going "WOAH! Is that really Aika?!" when I first saw it. Ai looks fab as always, Risa's pigtails were a little surprising. But she was cute in them. Eri's helmet hair made me grin but it wasn't that bad. Sayu seems to have trimmed her hair, Reina's just...well...Reina XD

Vids of the concert. I adore the intro they filmed of the girls for this. I want a HD version damnit!! *shakes fist again* All the 56kkies were sooooooooo cuteeeeeeeeeeee!!!

3) Goddess Ai

The term goddess I usually use to refer to Eri? But this time I can't help praising leader with it too. I mean look at her! That face! That body! Her smile! And those eyes *melts* I knew I had to have a copy of this mag the moment I set eyes on it. How could I not support a MM girl gracing the cover of a magazine? It has been far too long since that happened. This is probably the only time I approve of Friday XD

If you ask me which of these shots I like the most, it just happens to be the 3 where Ai's clad in the dark bikini. Coincidence? ^^;
