Storyline at Last

Hmmm I'm both excited and dreading the new DMM single. Looking forward to how UFA finally gives their group a PV with a storyline. And it's rather interesting, as it looks like a guy Rika likes has visited the nightclub where she is working at. But he entered with Kei and Koharu. She wants to confront him or something but Yuko stops her while Mari looks on.

For one, I think Rika's acting has somewhat improved, since she was really bad before =P Yuko was cool! And she could emote quite well. Mari was believable too. I wonder how Nacchi and Miki will fit into this. Makoto and Kaori too. Can Yossui be the pimp? =x Just kidding. It's kinda funny that the guy would pick Kei over Rika though. Maybe she lied about her occupation so he doesn't know she works here. But if that were true, then shouldn't she try and hide instead of going up to him?? Hmmm, so many questions.

The most intriguing portion will have to be Ai's appearance. She isn't dressed like a hostess. So is she the new girl who is on her first visit to her future workplace? Or is she here to look for someone? Perhaps one of the hostess is her sister? Or mom? =P Her outfit reminds me of High King. It's nice, I like it =) But I don't hope that they put her in the group. Being solo seems to be better for now.

And so it seems that MM's next single will have horrible costumes. And I do agree. What is that yellow thing?!?!? Unless they are gonna get a good deal promoting KFC, I seriously think they gotta change the clothes. What's wrong with the management??? Do they really think such a cover will attract buyers? OMG.... Please rectify the mistake soon! I don't want to see even more dramatic falling sales figures =(

Jishin Motte Yume Motte Tobitatsu Kara & more Ai-chan!

I finally watched Ai-sama's solo PV and I only have one comment for it.

I LOVE IT!!!!

Whoever came up with the concept for it is a genius!! Well, it is considered one of the better ones (if not the best) PVs to come out of UFA.

First of all, Ai-chan's outfit was cool to the max. I like the spinning and glittering effect throughout the vid. It didn't make me dizzy nor did it cause Pokemon fits XD And they made her look tall inside =x This could really appeal to the fans who like androgynous female artistes. Wasn't there a girl group who debuted dressed up like guys yet they could sell bikini photobooks as well? That is some really good marketing strategy. One which UFA should really pick up on. Where's the girl on girl fan service??!

The lyrics suit Ai's situation when it was released. She was about to graduate and she loved MM. Also, she didn't know how to put her thoughts into words and the years went by until this day. Tsunku wrote this song right? He really knows her well huh.

I adore how she couldn't pronounce "Thank you till now" and "Thank you tonight". The best touch of the PV is the photos of Ai during the various stages of her MM career. Whoever got to keep them after the shoot must be in Ai-chan heaven. So many photographs and with Takahashi being such a photogenic beauty, one can be sure they will mostly be incredible pictures to collect.

They should have given a DVD with the PV for the version which had Ai on the single cover. That would surely boost sales and at the same time it provides a great memento for all of her fans to cherish.

She really likes plastic frames and that hat huh? I always wondered how she keeps it at that angle without it falling off? Clips? But how? Hmmmmm. Those fans who wrote those messages are really sweet. I was kinda expecting Ai-chan to start tearing. Her voice did sound a little off at some points. Maybe she was really touched, like how I was too. *sniff*

I don't know how she manages to make the hat and glasses match the somewhat casual outfit. I guess she's a true star huh? Possessing the ability to make anything look good.

Only You Solo PVs

Before I start on the post proper, just lemme say this. I SAW THOSE BUNNY EAR AIPHONE 4 COVERS THAT RISA AND HER IMOUTO (or was it imotou?) OWNS! I wouldn't bought it but I had to keep reminding myself I don't have an Aiphone 4 =( Fortunately I managed to prevent myself from buying something I couldn't use at all. BUT I still ended up buying something. As if I have any use for a Stitch Aiphone lanyard thingy. GAH! *slaps self*

Finally started to watch the solo PVs of Only You. And I have to say...although Gaki-san was so darn cute in the original PV, those who aren't diehard fans should really not watch her solo angle ^^; It's not that it wasn't good, but she just wasn't as stunning? I wonder why =(

Ai's was as expected, good. This woman just oozes attitude and smexiness =P I loved her little head flick right at the end of the video. And although her hair colour screams hay, it strangely doesn't look hay-like. It was actually kinda nice though somewhat poofy. I know some fans aren't exactly taken by leader's short blond look. But hey, she'll be the best looking JE member on the block no? Hee.

Unfortunately I hadn't gotten around to watching Sayu's. And I didn't even manage to download Reina's to the end. Talk about being annoyed. Then I had to discover stuff that I wanted wasnt there but other stuff I didn't want was. Man was I irritated. Good thing you actually replied when I sent you a message. I was surprised cuz I didn't expect you to. I'll "Ren" two more days like you said. You gotta message me then okay? Or I'll just die!!! Lol, I'm being dramatic xD

Someone told me to go YouTube to watch videos and I did. But I always ended up searching for mm related vids ^^; I'm too much of a Momusu lover to pay attention to anything else. And another someone asked me to go watch XXXX concert but noooo. My heart remains with MM. I might attend XXXX's (coincidentally it's a four letter name too) though that's only a MIGHT. And I don't even know if this four letter name group will visit this country.

I'm quite satisfied with today though last night was an absolute horror. Good thing that's over now. I hope it doesn't return. Yep, please don't =(

So I was watching MM solo angles and some old clips and I can't help but think of Eri. Gah! I miss the turtle. I wanna know what sort of hair she would have in Only You. Or if she has experimented on a new shade of brown. What fashion style is she into recently. And if she has stumbled upon a new craze. *sobs* Kame! Come back?

To think I named this blog Mame and Friends yet I think the majority of my posts involve Eri ^^; It's okay though huh? Cuz KAMEMAMEHA wouldnt mind this.

Tomorrow and Sat will be long days again. Tuesday come on! And MM DX con DVD come on too =D

44th Promo Music Jump + Solo Ver.

The first time I saw their 'Music Jump' perf I had to do it without sound. The dance moves weren't that great but with the music, it wasn't so bad. I wish MM could have more live music shows to go on. I feel indignant that they never get the opportunity to show people what they can do. Granted, this song probably wouldn't be the best choice but who knows right? You won't know the results until you try.

Bonus points go to leader for the self touching at 0:59 min. Ai seems to do it often ne? Not that I have any complains :P

Sayumi's messy hair at 1:08 min and 1:27 min for the win! This bunny takes my breath away at the most unexpected moments. There have been quite a few times when I just look at her and think, "wow, she's gorgeous." And whenever they do that move where they spread their legs I just go @@ Oh gawd, stop making people think wrong Sayu! ^^;

I've noticed that Reina likes to have a clip in her hair recently. Or has it been there all along but I've missed it till now?

Gaki's hair looks somewhat dry. Has she not been conditioning it? Or is it that she doesn't have the extra time since she spends all her free time out of work eating a particular someone XD

For once I didn't find Risa overdoing her moves. In fact, Jun Jun appeared to be the member dancing the hardest. Did sub-leader decide to tone down so that the graduating members could have more airtime before they leave? Or perhaps she is just too tired after "eating" a delicious meal the night before :P

The balloon prop hanging in the middle of the stage is so distracting. It's way too big and looks like it will drop down at any second. Dangerous ne. It reminds me of my fic where I wrote about the stage lights malfunctioning lol. Speaking of that, I feel terrible for not updating MGR. Sigh, no inspiration and no mood makes it hard to write.

Gosh, I actually didn't have anything to say about Kame. What happened?!?! Gomene to Aika and Lin Lin too :(

Woah...all that self touching @@ Ai definitely is the most expressive of them all. Her facial expressions and body language beats everyone hands down. I'm talking about the good ones so Risa, even though you also have a lot of actions usually, your wife still wins XD Strangely, I find myself staring at leader's lips a lot. I wonder why. And I'm gonna imagine that these are what she does whenever she wants to get her hubby to eat her :P Her ears are so big and cute!!! A perfect spot for Mr Niigaki to kiss I suppose :P

Mame

Your hair is like hay!!! Lol, but it's still nice hay. Cuz I still think it looks good. And why are you smirking? Are you pleased that you are always on top? XDDD Is there something very interesting to your right? Why do you tend to face that direction more? Ahhh I know! Maybe Ai-chan is standing there waiting for you to wrap up so you can go home together. Yes, her home...together XD

Eri

I'm really not a fan of this hairstyle. But I do like the fringe. I wonder how they create those bangs that kinda curl in? Funny that it's only in Kame's solo pv did I start to notice that there are other things in the video other than them XD The furry boots again makes me wanna touch them. They look comfy. And the bubble like plastic wall looks nice to bounce against. Though they do make me think of the rooms in a mental institution ^^; Which in turn reminded me of GA. What is with me and fics?! I must be suffering from the lack of good and sadistic AG fics :( Again I find myself staring at lips. I always thought she has kissable ones. I wonder if Sayu finds them tasty :D

Sayumi

Ahhh, and finally we come to the babe. Babe as in hawt and gorgeous girl. I think the black background makes her look incredibly fair and this makes her look so darn good to bite! I also adore her luscious hair. I love it when she places both hands over her chest at 1:19 min. Frankly, I don't know what sort of emotion Shige-san is trying to put across (I doubt she knows either, lol). But heck, she looks awesome and I especially love 1:33 min when she bit her lip (omg doki doki XD) and 1:44 min where she acted flippant and did that little strut. WAHHHHHH~~ L.O.V.E LOVELY SAYUMINNNNNNNN!!! Lol.

Lullaby Song for Boys and Girls

MM's 44th single. I was highly anticipating this as it was Eri's and the pandas' last single. BUT.....hmmmm ^^; It's still okay in the end cuz the song gets catchy after a while.

I think I'm just not pleased with the huge bow on Reina's head, Eri's horrible dress, and Risa's...well...I don't know? Something is just weird but I can't exactly say what is. But at least she has good hair? I like her hair, looks so kakoii ^_^

On the up side, Ai-chan and Sayu both are really pretty! I love her hair and the scenes with the flower petals all around them *in love* JunLin actually look very good. I think their dresses are one of the better ones. Perks of graduating soon maybe?

Aika looks okay? Nothing too spectacular but not too shabby either. All in all, this isn't a bad single. So...BUY IT!! :P

Close up

I prefer the black and close up versions but I like the cover of the white version so that's the version I'm getting. But now I wonder if I picked the correct one ^^; Why am I so fickle?!?! No, I think I just love MM too much and want to have all the versions XD

I still find that Ai's hair reminds me of those scenes in wayang where the actors twirl their hair around :P The outfits of them in their respective colors look a little strange but then I got used to it after some time so...hee hee. I guess to me MM does no wrong. Or rather, I can forgive most of them :P

Seishun Collection Solo Versions ~ Risa

When I saw the main PV for Seishun Collection, I didn't find Gaki too striking ^^; But when I managed to get my hands on the individual PVs, I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Gaki was incredibly cute!

Her smile, her expressions, even the way she played with the collar of her costume was adorable! Even the way she did "shhhhh" was kawaii :) Perhaps the only thing which made me go "hmmmm" was her super long eyelashes. Wonder if the stylist suggested she try it or did she come for the PV shooting with those on already. She was the only one with them.

As I continued watching, something else caught my attention. Her teeth...they kinda look different. Did she do something? As in braces? Verneers? Invisalign? What?

God, that shade of lip gloss she has on causes my line of sight to keep going back to her mouth. Gah!!! I wanna... *trails off* :P

*Sees Risa waving into the screen* *waves back* I see you Gaki-san! *big grin* And I like you. *whispers* XD

Musume Academy: Shouganai Yumeoibito

The HQ version of the new PV is finally out. I was expecting to only see it during the first week of May. Have H!P PVs always been released so early in advance? Anyway, after viewing the clearer video, I am all the more convinced that I LOVE it! I actually took screencaps of the PV. Is that a miracle or what? XD The number of caps each girl got doesn't signify my adoration level for them. It was largely dependent on how many pretty looking scenes I could grab :P

For once nobody looks bad in a cover. This is the normal edition btw. All of the girls have stunning smiles and hair shiny enough to shoot a shampoo advertisment. The details about the 2 LE is, they come with different versions of the PV. My guess is one will be a close up while the other an alternative version. Possibly in their various outfits and not the white/cream dress which will be in the dance shot version. I wish this single came with a PB edition. It should be epic.

Ai-chan

First thought that appeared in my mind when I saw Ai was "Q.E.D!" Doesn't her hair resemble Kanna's? Did UFA want the audience to be reminded that she was the lead actress in the drama? Or did they think that she looks younger with this hairstyle? For some reason, I think Ai-chan would have looked tons prettier with her hair let down or tied to the side. Ai looks much better in the close up. See, it's the hair that messed up. The ending bit of the PV was almost like Onna ni Sachi Are with Ai's extended face shot. I like her denim jacket.

Gaki-san

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Gaki-saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!!!!!!! Sugoi kireii!!

Her hair and clothes are perfect! I can't believe Risa looks so awesome. Or should I say, I can't believe the company gave her a decent image. Gosh, her striped shirt, tie and sweater practically screams college girl. Though I think a lighter colored pair of pants would have been more suitable, I can't really complain since Gaki-san looks nothing less than incredible <3 Oh, and is she wearing the same jeans as Kame, right down to the way they folded them? Damn, seeing Risa makes me wanna run my fingers through her tresses :P

Eririn

There is no denying that Eri is a beautiful girl. And this video really proved that. Although Risa's outfit was more schoolgirl and Eri's could be something any young woman going shopping would've worn, I somehow still got a university student vibe off her. In my mind, Eri would be the quiet studious type who hides in the library all day reading by herself. One other thing that got me all hyped up is, they put her in a cardigan! The Eri character in my fics tend to be dressed in a cardigan cuz I feel it fits her. Whatdyaknow, apparently someone in the wardrobe department thinks the same way :D

Shige-san

I think Sayumi wins the award for making me forget to breath the most number of times. I have to congratulate the lighting guy for doing such a good job of making Sayu look creamy white. Her skin is so pale and enticing that it plays off her raven dark hair and eyes wonderfully. The off shoulder dress and her expression didn't hurt either. Sayumi was totally channeling the kind of "you-know-you-want-me" feel she gives off in her photobooks. In other words, it kills the viewer instantly.

Tanakacchi

Reina is like the unofficial "bag girl" XD Why is she always the one carrying a bag? Remember her leopard print handbag in Resonant Blue? I liked her purple plaid one-piece. Not many people can pull off this color but its obvious Reina has no problems there. The way the front of her dress was flipped open is such a tease! It made me er....nothing....I better not type that out :P I will probably never understand why Reina doesn't leave her hair down more often. She definitely looks ravishing when she does. When she appeared like that I was left shellshocked. That image of her was that dazzling.

GAKIKAME/KAMEMAME/RISAERI

In my fantasy world, Eri asked Lin Lin for Risa's schedule so she could wait for her at the elevator to kinda "bump" into her. Tee hee hee, doesn't that sound likely? And Kame seems rather happy herself. Look at how sweetly she is smiling :D I'm not very sure if the person Eri is talking to in the 2nd cap is Risa cuz it looks like some of the mystery girl's hair is tied up. And I can't see from Gaki-san's caps whether the back of her hair is done like this.

I'm really lost on the finger biting thing. I get that it's a good way to get people watching the vid riled up, if you know what I mean XD Even I got somewhat hot under the collar when I saw it. But what has that got to do with the song? Is it mentioned in the lyrics? I wonder if everyone bites their finger except for Ai. I guess I'll have to wait till the dance shot gets released to find out. Oh and OnDiet said KameMame were biting their fingers cuz they were starving XDD

Group Shot

If these 9 girls were in the same course in university, I bet noone is that cohort would graduate. I'll be too mesmerized by them to pay any attention to the lecturer XD

Koharu-chan

In the blurry LQ version of the PV, I thought Koharu was wearing a lab coat XD Initially I guessed she was an associate professor or teaching assistant. Thank goodness for the dohhh up PV. Now I can tell she was in fact wearing a blazer. Kinda strange that UFA dressed her up so maturely when she's just 17 in 2009. I don't like the hair but Koharu's still pretty in the close ups so I can live with it. Her running scene made me LOL. Clearly she can't emote that well but most idols can't anyway.

Mittsui

Is this the first time Aika colored her hair brown? I can't recall if she did it in Pepper Keibu. Nevertheless, I'm positive Shouganai Yumeoibito is gonna be her break out song. Nice outfit, it portrays her outgoing personality very well. Watch out for Aika during the dance shots. She had extensions and man, were they remarkable! Not everyone can look good with both short and long hair. I think Aika is a great example of someone who can. Keep your eye on this 8 Gen-ner. She's gonna rock your socks off in no time.

Jun Jun

The whole theme of this PV had the girls in normal clothes and light make up. I really liked Jun Jun's black and white jacket. It hints of slight sportiness but is still within the feminine range. Isn't that exactly her personality? Hmmm, what else, oh right. In the close up, it pretty apparent that Jun Jun can look okay without make up. What I mean is, she won't be the type to scare you silly should you see her on her day off.

Lin Lin

It's funny how although Lin Lin has the nicer features, it's usually Jun Jun who comes out prettier in videos. Is it the hair, the clothes or what? Nonetheless, Lin Lin is a funny girl who isn't afraid to show her crazy side. That's why I quite like her. To tell you the truth, there isn't anyone I don't like in the current line-up. That's why it's so difficult for me to rank them. Because us fans already know Lin Lin is a nut case XD we can't really imagine her as an introvert. Yet from her screencaps, she's rather believable as a shy person.

JunLin

These 2 are cute together. I could see them as a dating couple :D Jun Jun is the boy while Lin Lin the girl. Awwwww, makes me feel all mushy inside ^^

I Might Cry...

...Tears of joy that is from viewing the spectacular PVs featuring each individual member. I told OnDiet I was gonna write an entry about the girl's solo 'Naichau Kamo' close-up PVs but that came to naught as I got sidetracked by Risa's Alo Hello 2 post and a whole truckload of school assignments and projects. I still have a partially written document about it somewhere but I have no idea where I saved it. That might have been a good thing since between then and now, a new batch of PVs emerged with the release of MM's Platinum 9 Disc album. This set of videos are way better as they incorporate the close-up, dance and rain scene clips all in one. Talk about cowlabunga awesome! Now for a ranking of my top 5 starting from bottom up.

#5 Takahashi Ai aka the Human Tap



Her position came as a real shocker as I ranked her #1 for the close-up versions. Her half a beat delay at mouthing the 'Kamo' at the beginning cost her a few points and the fact that I kept getting distracted by the other girls during the dancing scenes added on to her slide to the bottom of the list.

You would think that as the 2nd or 3rd best dancer within MM (Depending on if you're a bigger Gaki-san or Kame fan), anyone watching the PV would have their eyeballs trained on her the entire time she displayed how flexible her body was with the side thrusting and stuff. Yet I didn't find that she exhibited her full potential for this particular dance sequence.

However, it's undeniable that Ai looks ravishing (I have always been a fan of her this hairstyle) and she has the most number of extended scenes where she succeeds in conveying the forlornness of Mariko beautifully (See 2.22 - 2.29 min, 2.49 - 3.20 min, 3.29 - 3.33 min, 3.56 - 4.20 min). Her looking up at the falling rain and catching of the water droplets in her palm at 0.18 min and again at 1.23 - 1.40 min made me feel that she is a worthy actress as she made the effort to include details that would better bring out the emotions of the song.

#4 Niigaki Risa aka Ai's Supporter in the Emotion Department



Risa too did a lot of glancing up at the rain which was similar to what Ai did. Nevertheless, the feeling I got while watching TakaGaki acting was different. Ai-chan's was more on the verge of breaking down whilst Risa's was more serene, as if she was contemplating about the past and how she handled the relationship. 0.17 - 0.33 min was the first time she tilted her head towards the sky and she did it again at 1.23 - 1.39 min. I'm convinced there is no other person who can look as good as Gaki-san does from that angle :P

She was darn cool at 2.27 min when she stepped backwards and Ai and Koharu came up front. Besides Sayumi's famous Mariko line, the next sentence I most like in the single has to be the one that Risa sang from 3.02 - 3.11 min. Her little action of flicking her hair with her hands some time during that verse totally killed me with how smexy she looked <3

One thought that kept appearing in my head while watching Risa is, since when did her lips get so deliciously thick? Not that I'm complaining as they look incredibly kissable :P My all-time favorite Mame scene is from 4.24 - 4.33 min. The way she brought her eyes gradually downwards and her resigned sigh was enough to make me wanna strangle whoever brought her so much pain XD

#3 Kusumi Koharu aka the New Hawt Girl

I think I've mentioned this somewhere before that Koharu isn't the most competent dancer. Heck, she can sometimes rival Sayumi for the I'm-suffering-from-an-attack-of-fits award but then again, the 164.8 cm (Refer to Music Fighter NCK episode) beauty has improved tremendously from her black stare expression days. She had a couple of hilarious footage including the OMG-I-Need-to-wipe-the-window-quick hand actions at 0.47 min and her Ow-my-contacts-are-too-dry-and-might-pop-out-at-any-moment-so-I-gotta-blink-loads-to-keep-them-from-falling-out look at 1.22 - 1.39 min XD

Nonetheless, her drenched look during the raining scenes and gorgeously wavy hair during the close-up shots more than makes up for her lack of dancing skills :D Koharu even manages to channel the cool vibe on a few ocassions. I can't help drooling every time the camera does a zoom in on her pretty face or prevent myself from thinking how a 16 year old can look so pretty.

Therefore, I'm sold as a believer that Koha will blossom into an extremely beautiful young lady when she turns 18. She has the height and slim figure on her side plus she doesn't have a face that girls love to hate. Thus I can't see why she won't find success in the acting realm if a good script was presented to her. I guess what I'm trying to say with my senseless rambling is that Koharu truly is the miracle member in my eyes. I can't really explain why I feel this way, I just do. Something tells me she will be the one to look out for in the near future.


#2 Kamei Eri aka the most Adorable Alien / Turtle / Pokepokepuu



When the camera slowly panned up and caught Eri's expression at 0.15 min, that was already enough to kill me. Now I know what the phrase "If looks could kill" mean. Damn, Eri oozes sensuality just by fluttering her eyelids. Her turning around prior to that was a nice build up for what was to come at 0.51 min when she killed me again. The nail in the coffin was hammered in from 1.14 - 1.20 min. That broken expression and the swallowing was epicly done!

The pursing of the lips at 1.56 min is one trait of Eri which makes me melt, every single time. What does that smile at 2.17 min mean? The ironic circumstance that Mariko is in? HOLY SHIT!! Eri sliding her fingers down her hair at 2.56 min *Stares with slacked jaw* Did you hear a bell ring? That was the sign annoucing I'm 100% out cold, totally killed by the power of the turtle.

When it comes to Kame-chan, how could I not say anything about her dancing? I felt her best moments were from 4.01 - 4.08 min. She makes it look so darn effortless. Yet another brilliant guesture - the abrupt twisting of her face away from the camera she delivered at 3.29 min. *Hammy feels a jolt through her heart* Goddess Eri ensures your every last breath is stolen completely with the ending scene at 4.39 min. *Hammy collapses to a heap on the floor*


#1 Michishige Sayumi aka Her Time Has Come



Ooooh, I like the hand on glass scene at 0.22 min. And the slight tilting of her head upwards is great too. I could actually feel how cold Sayumi was when she was filming this PV. There is this hypnotizing effect when you gaze into her eyes, those pure black orbs just suck you in so deep you can't get out of falling in love with the girl known as Ichiban Kawaii. It's like she's telling you to bring her home and love and care for her so that no one else can hurt her anymore.

Costume wise, Sayu already wins hands down since I'm such a big sucker for ties. She was one of the two / few who had a polka-dotted piece hanging around her neck. I adore her hair in the dance portions and she undoubtedly looked the best in the red leather jacket. I don't know if it's just me but man, did her legs look appealing in those fishnet stockings. To those who claim her legs are too skinny, take that XD

Sayumin's classic line at 0.48 min was executed perfectly. The manner by which she ran that finger down the side of her face was so temptingly seducing. Gawd and the hip-shaking was damn attractive too. When did she learn to wiggle her body like that??! She drips sex appeal again at 2.22 min. A drop of water rolling down the glass panel at 2.23 min coincided with her lifting of her face and and that made it seem as if she was weeping. The bunny is the sole member who draws her brows arched at that particular angle and it is really alluring to me.

Nai Chau Kamo or ‘I Might Cry’ will be released on February 18th 2009. Being MM’s first single for the year, you could say I had high hopes for it. While having expectations is not always a good idea since you tend to get disappointed when things don’t turn out the way you want them to, I think it’s safe to say I am one happy camper after viewing the HQ version of the PV endless times. Yep, HAPPY!!! (dakara happy~~~) Geez, I have to stop singing Koharu/Kirarin songs XD. So the PV wasn’t the most creative, repetitive at best and I can pick out more than a couple of dance steps and backdrops that were reused in one or more of their older songs. But hey, at least the girls looked beautiful and the song didn’t get annoying after repeated listens. Some things I liked and found funny about the ‘Kamo’ song in order of appearance. (I thought they were singing Come On x 3~!) That explains the title of this post.

Moments I go YAY!

1. Ai-chan’s hair (There seems to be fans for and against her hairstyle but personally I like it)

2. The lack of a towel on Eri’s head (She had a hood or something in the promo pics on the official website. Thank god they didn’t make her wear it in the PV)

3. Jun Jun’s hair (I never thought the day of me complimenting her would ever come. But yes, I do think she looks cool with cornrows)

4. Sayu’s solo line (The girl can sing!! So what if she took almost 6 years to do it :D)

5. Ai-chan crying (Don’t cry Ai-chan. Go get Risa to console you :P)

6. Eri’s sad expression (Once again, I’m positive thousands would gladly die for her)

7. Risa dancing (Gaki-san is a true all rounder in my eyes. She is a competent singer/dancer/host/etc)

8. Sayu in a red leather coat (Hawt HAWT HAWT, her hair helped a lot)

9. Eri’s solo line (I really like her voice. It’s so distinct and soothing)

10. Wet Koharu (Daaa-mn, aim the water hose at her 24/7 please XD)

11. Koharu’s hair (Both the cool and wavy styles. Curls on the ‘Miracle’ is never a wrong move)

12. Sayumi’s second solo line (It was low, husky and so very sexy. Not to mention she was in tune with the song :P)

13. Eri dancing (To me, Kame will ALWAYS be the best dancer within MM <3)

14. Risa's solo (Well I am a Mame fan)

15. Sayumi dancing (She finally lost the ‘deer in headlights look’ and can concentrate fully on appearing droolsome)

16. The wardrobe not looking as bad as originally thought (The nightmares I had after seeing those promotional pictures are gone for good. Who knew rain worked so well in camouflaging unflattering outfits?)

Laughable Moments

1. Aika trying to emote (Being just 16, you can’t blame her for failing to project the correct emotions)

2. Jun Jun looking like a wet chicken (Somebody had an accident with a pail of water XD)

3. Reina’s ridiculous pout (It so did not go with the theme of the song. Maybe if it were a cute song that would have worked)

4. Lin Lin's disheveled look (I didn’t know she had a starring role in ‘Qian Lin and the case of the runaway hair brush XD)

5. Lin Lin’s head piece (I’m almost certain a staff member is bearing a grudge against her. That hat could double up as a prop on Old Macdonald’s poultry farm)

I thought the raining scenes were done exceedingly well. The wall of umbrellas and rain effect matched the overall theme of the video and while it was pretty obvious that the girls weren’t really soaked, each of them managed to project a somewhat forlorn feel. With the exception of Aika as mentioned earlier. Despite having some flaws, I’m still a firm believer that this song is a winner.

The title makes no sense but I don't care. When did the close up versions of Pepper Keibu come out? Why was I out of the freaking loop? I'm typing as I watch because I can't wait to voice my thoughts. (Or type in this case)

That statement is history, gone, disappeared for good I tell ya! This was the order that I started watching the 4 versions. 4, that beat Resonant Blue which had 3 different versions, right? Anyway, as I was saying before I got side-tracked.

1. Hey, they joined the girls doing different poses from the song. Great idea.


2. *Stunned silence* as I took in 9 girls flashing past on the screen while trying to keep a straight face. Letting too many people see you smiling stupidly at the monitor can't be a good thing.

I was originally intending to do this for all 3 close-up versions but decided to go with just the Gaki Koha Aika version in the end since I don't have a whole lotta time to write this. That and I'm incredibly biased towards Risa XD

Maybe if UFA put these on the official single V instead of just the normal and close-up PV of all the girls sales would be significantly higher. Sometimes I don't know what the company is thinking.
