Katachi/Figure Ai

Ai's latest PB in her extensive collection of 11 is 形 Katachi released on 27 May 2010. I have to say when I first saw the cover I was @@ cuz well, there was a real good view of her *ahem* assets? I don't know why the way the photographer took this shot just makes my eyes (and I'm sure anyone who see this) naturally zoom in to there. I don't think the other members' PBs have this effect on people. At least I don't recall that they do ^^;

Front Cover

I've always thought that the 'wet' look is nice? In this cover, Ai's hair is wet so obviously I would think she looks good :P

Back Cover

I think the nautical themed bikini is cute on leader. She looks youthful enough to pull it off. And omg, she has a surfboard in her hands. That means surfing pictures right? *excited*

This should be the page just before the back cover. There's something about it that just attracts me. Maybe it's the way she's looking over her shoulder. That droolsome view of her back probably helped too :P

That ice dessert in her hands looks tasty. So is the person eating it. Yummy~

The playful and fun look. I said Ai looks young right? So it's no surprise that she can look like a kid here. The off shoulder top and trucker hat are both so nice! Oh and her tiny denim shorts are cute too :D

I really love such shots where a single page is divided into a few sections. It's even better when the member in mention looks like she's having fun. When I see the bright smile on Ai's face, it makes me happy :)

Her expression here is a surprise. She's usually not so candid with her playful side but it's pretty clear here that she's being mischievous. I like such a Ai *heart*

Oh man, what would I give to be that pillow...or bed ^^; Can she don't curl up like this? The view of her thigh really is... *trails off* :P That look that she's giving the person looking at the pic is almost as if she's hinting "Come on over. Don't you want me?" XD *Ham pushes Gaki towards the smoldering Ai*

The sunlight in the background and how it's reflected on her hair is so beautiful. *sigh* Did the strap from her dress slip off her shoulder? GAH! That's so suggestive XD I love the flower ring on her head too.

I actually wanted to rank this pic at 1st spot. But I switched 1 and 2 around at the last minute. The wind running through Ai's hair makes me think it should be a nice feeling if fingers were going through them too. Risa, if you are not going to do it, I am :P

I really REALLY like this picture. I could stare at it all day. Too bad I can't stick it at work to make myself less sleepy or moody XD A pretty girl at the desk of a girl is hard to explain huh? :P

These pics were also in the running for top 10 position but I couldn't fit all into the limited number of places. Still, they deserve to be mentioned because they are really nice and beautiful as well. *Ham hearts all*

Happy Birthday Mrs Niigaki~

14 September 2010, Tuesday. What's so special about this day? Well, the answer is obvious. This is the day that Morning Musume's current leader was born, 24 years ago :)

I wonder how Ai-chan spent the eve of her special day. I want to believe that in the last moments of the 13rd of September, a certain bean by the name of Niigaki Risa was with her ^^; This hope is somewhat possible as Gaki-san did accompany her wifey to her Ohastar recording early in the morning on the 14th. Sayumi was also present for this filming. If you see the related entry on the bunny's blog, you will notice that Ai had a headband on. I LOVE it when she wears those. They suit her so well and she's always so pretty *hearts*

While I'm a little sad that Ai and Risa didn't get to cuddle in bed and sleep in on her birthday, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that Gaki was present at the show recording when she wasn't supposed to be on the it. The trio went out after that. Maybe all this is part of Risa's birthday plan for the love of her life :P I really hope us fans get wind of how leader spent her birthday with truckloads of juicy details. I hope for a reenactment of the year where Omame popped up at the birthday girl's door with a present at the very last minute.

Another piece of good news, one which I wondered if management kept a secret and only revealed it today. Ai has a blog!!! YIPEEEEEEEEE~~! It's called 'I Am Ai.' Isn't that the cutest name ever?? *wubs* I love the tiny ichigo at the end and that oh so gorgeous pic of her in Muten Musume's outfit. I still think the sushi single is catchy and the costume is nice. Am I the only one who thinks this way? XD

I've been wishing for the face of MM to get her very own blog for far too long. I hope there will be a lot of pictures and the bulk of them to have just Risa in them. But why do I think Mrs Niigaki will be like her other half and not post as frequently as the 6kkies - Kame

I really wish that Ai will have a wonderful birthday filled with happy happenings and she will always be a healthy and joyful ^_^

Class Monitor and New Girl~!

What makes me happier than seeing a great Risa photo? The answer to that question is, seeing a AiGaki photo where both of them look too cute for words! :D

Look at this set! It's from the Ragalo Horu event. Both Ai and Gaki's hair are awesome in my opinion. Ai's is the same one she had for the 5KKIES event as well as the short clip they used for the France concert. It makes me wonder if they shot all 3 on the same day? But the bean's hairdo was different for all. I love this one the most though.

I adore how Ai makes her "shhhh" sigh. It reminded me that "mou mou ren" did it yesterday XD The red ribbon on her hair is so cute!! So does the black ribbon on her shirt. Risa looks cool in her navy blazer and I love her little smile :)

Oh and did anyone notice how they both wrote Ai Gaki on their photos? *Squealing in process* Risa even drew hearts all around it *swoons*

Out of these 4 shots of both, my faves are the top right and bottom left ones. Isn't that a coincidence? Hmmm, maybe I'm just destined to liked these 2 as a pair for everything :D

When you see their outfits in full, don't they seem to resemble a uniform? Risa would be the class monitor who has a thing for teasing the dorky new student Ai :P Ai's is really cute with that short skirt. I wish Gaki was in trousers instead cuz she would totally rock them! It's like how she was so darn kakoii in her baggy jumper-like pants during the encore of the France concert.

I can't decide which of the "couple set" photos I like the best. I like it when they are leaning back to back. It gives me the feeling that they are shy around each other. The position of Ai's finger (sorry if that sounded wrong XD) makes her seem even more shy :)

And look at how they are holding hands!!! *jumps up and down happily* I have to say Ai's solo pic in this set is cuter than Risa's. I love the little things she drew and her pose :D

I prefer Risa's solo pic here. If she was standing in front of me with this exact same pose and with that smile, I'll find it worthwhile to die there and then. But could I touch her first? XD Just to know I'm not dreaming and it was really true? That she was indeed looking back at me and smiling at me?

Oh my Gakiness!!! That photo of AiGaki with their cheeks touching and them with their eyes closed. Don't they look like little children? It's so sweet!! Makes me melt ^^;

I laughed when I saw that Ai drew wings. And is that a tiny mushroom beneath her leg? Kawaii~!! I think Gaki drew mega sized sweat drops on her photo XD And that looks like a multicolored ball she's balancing on.

JUMPPING instead of jumping, lol. Doesn't anyone in UFA check through what the girls write before sending them for production? At first I thought Risa wrote it since it's colored in green. But AA thinks it's Ai because she has made spelling mistakes before. I remember she ever posted on the Fashionable blog with a typo too :D Why are Mr and Mrs Niigaki just so adorable?!?!?

I'm surprised that there aren't more goods except for the photos and a pen? I REALLY REALLY want this set of pics! If anyone knows how, please tell me? Or better yet, if someone can get them for me I'll be soooooo grateful!!

H!P's Popularity Ranking for China

I've always liked rankings/polls, both doing them myself and seeing the results after the completion. There was one done by CDJapan recently and now there's another by Chinese fans. I have to say I was surprised by some of the girls' rankings.

1) Ai

I no longer have any doubt that Ai is the most popular member within MM in any country. And I mean ANY. It's obvious from the amount of attention she gets in every nation that the group visits and it's not hard to see why. I'm fully supportive of leader getting first spot.

2) Reina

However, Reina getting 2nd place baffles me. I mean, I thought that her attitude would be the type that most females dislike. So is she polled so high due to the efforts of male fans? But then again, I always thought that more girls as compared to guys bother with such online rankings or even following idols so closely. Maybe I thought wrong and Momosu has just as many guy and girl fans who are enthusiastic :)

3) Lin Lin

JunLin in the top 5 is to be expected. Their fellowmen would vote for them no? And being a Chinese speaking country, they would most probably like someone whom they can understand. I don't know if I should be surprised that Lin is 2 spots higher than the elder.

4) Airi

I really didn't expect the lead singer of C-ute to be #4. Is the group that known there?

5) Jun Jun

See point 3 above.

6) Eri

7) Risa

I didn't think Kame would be out of the top 5. And I definitely didn't see Gaki as a top 10 contender. So maybe the sales of the bean's goods in H!P official stores doesn't reflect her general popularity out of Japan?

8) Risako

Just like C-ute's star, the face of Berryz is in the front 10 as well. And again I wonder, how known is the 'Monkey dance' group there? They don't even have overseas versions of their concerts DVD.

9) Sayumi

How could the bunny be almost out of all 10 positions? I thought she would be placed much higher since a lot of positive comments were made about the "Doll-like looking girl with the fair skin and dark hair" on that Tian Tian Xiang Shang show screened on China (Hunan) TV.

10) Miyabi

Funnily the other lead singer of BK is ranked but not Maimi? How could that be???

B.L.T Entry #1

The thing about such publications as the recent B.LT one is that it's filled with interesting stuff that any H!P fan would wanna know about. You definitely have to be good at Japanese to understand what's written inside. If you do, this would make a good addition to flip through again on a rainy day :)

The 10 questions posed to the entire H!P family are as follows:

1) If you were free to form your own group, who are the members and group name you would pick?

All of the questions are amusing and I laughed when I read Q4-6 since I had answers of my own for these. I chose Eri as someone I would like as a sister and Aika as my mom (Oh man, I would love Aika to death if she was my mom :P). If only I could then I would really hope to get the replies of all the girls to Q3. I don't know why but I feel that you could really tell the personalities of both the person answering and the person being commented upon with this question.

Obviously I would find Q9 and 10 interesting. But that's just me since I'm always hoping for there to be actual couple pairings within the H!P family ^^;

Since AA would surely post about Ai, I'll just write about the rest briefly. Haha, though can you trust me when I say briefly for anything that concerns MM? :P

MM's replies to Q1 are:

Risa: Eri, Yurina, Ayaka Wada (Dekopoke?) I can't tell if the part with ? is jyu or tsu ^^;

I'm surprised that she would pick someone from S/mileage? I didn't know the bean was close to them? And apparently she and Yurina are the tsukkomis while the other 2 are the bokes. I didn't know the kuma was such a character.

Eri: Yurina (Kame and Bear)

Again I was surprised. Is it a coincidence that both KameMame want Kumai in their group? What did I miss? Since when did they start hanging out?

Sayumi: Ai, Risako, Airi, Ayaka Wada (Michishige Family)

It's a no brainer that the usagi would pick the 2 people she adores other than herself :P I'm just shocked that there was no Eri. Why is Ayaka so popular? (Gaki wants her too) I guess I would never know unless I start to take more notice of S/mileage.

Reina: Aika, Miyabi, Mai, Kanon Fukuda, Saki Ogawa (Tanaka Army)

The Tanaka Army was formed in another DVD magazine no? So she has 1/3 of Aa! but not Airi. I wonder why. Ahhh I know, she gave her up to her beloved Sayu? :P Of course her ever loyal Mittsui must be included in her team. It's funny how TanaShige both have group names which include their family names? Must be destined that this pair belong together :P

Aika: Mai (M&A)

A duet? You neve cease to amaze me Aika :D A twosome is certainly rare.

JJ: Ai, Eri, Captain, Miyabi, Maimi, Chisato, Yuuka (8to1)

It's obvious who this Chinese girl likes from MM. And she has professed her "love" to captain so nothing new there. Miya went with her to China so perhaps she finds that they can get along. Maimi is the all round nice girl. It is a good move to include her. Not to mention she is quite the looker and can pull in fans. Yuuka would appeal to lollita fans and Chisato is pure talent. Hmmm, looks like JJ's may be the group that does the best XD
